The list of invited speakers encompasses the broad spectrum of polyP biology. Each of the invited speakers is a leading figure of their respective field and have an outstanding contribution to polyP research.

The first and foremost criteria that will be used in selecting a participant as a speaker will be the scientific quality and originality of the presented abstract. Additionally, a fair gender balance will be considered and significant regional bias will be avoided. Preference will be given to abstract directly submitted by students or postdocs. Selected talks will be as long as for the invited speakers to allow young researchers to properly express their science.

The poster sections, which are an integral part of the meeting, will be located in close proximity to the seminar hall and will be always available such as discussions that can be held near the posters even outside official poster sections.

The healthy future of the polyP research field lays in the research that will be performed by the younger attendees of the meetings. We envision several approaches to increase the relevance of younger scientists. The meeting section chair will be selected between attendees that have just started their independent laboratory to offer them the opportunity to be recognized. The organizers will ask the invited speakers to stay for the full length of the meeting, such that senior scientists will be available throughout the conference. During the two official dinners, we aim to assign the sitting to the invited speakers such that no more than two senior scientists share the same table.
